Checklist - to be completed after installation

Check Safty Sensors
  1. Footrest 'top' side sensor - with the lift ascending, push top-side spring-loaded edge of footrest - lift should stop immediately.
  2. Footrest 'bottom' side sensor - with the lift descending, push bottom-side spring-loaded edge of footrest - lift should stop immediately.
  3. Footrest base sensor - with the lift descending, push the base of the footrest upwards - lift should stop immediately.
  4. Carriage 'top' side sensor - with the lift ascending, push the top-side spring-loaded molding attached to the carriage, immediately surrounding the rail - lift should stop immediately.
  5. Carriage 'bottom' side sensor - with the lift descending, push the bottom-side spring-loaded molding attached to the carriage immediately above the rail - lift should stop immediately.
Check Stopping Limits
  1. Bottom stopping limit operative - run the lift right to the bottom of the rail - lift should automatically come to a 'soft' stop at the foot of the staircase.
  2. Top stopping limit operative - run the lift right to the top of the rail - lift should automatically come to a 'soft' stop at the top of the staircase.
Check Remote Controls
  1. Remote controls operative - pressing the red button causes the lift to ascend after a 3 second delay - pressing the green button causes the lift to descend after a 3 second delay.
Check Key Switch
  1. Key 'off' LED warning - with the key in the 'stop' position, the red LED is illuminated and the lift will not operate.
Check Seat Swivel Cut-out
  1. Seat swivel LED warning - with the seat swivel mechanism not locked in the riding position (i.e. facing up the staircase) the yellow LED is illuminated and the lift will not operate.
Check Off-Charge Warning
  1. Lift 'off-charge' audible warning - with the lift stopped in mid-travel, (i.e. off the upper or lower charge points) a 40 second pause is followed by the red, yellow and green LEDs flashing for 40 seconds accompanied by an audible warning (continuous 'bleeping') for a further 40 seconds, followed by restoration of a steady green LED - the lift will operate as normal if activated by the toggle switch or remote controls.
